A constellation of worthy individuals and businesses took out the 16 EISSI awards on offer for NSW.
The NSW surveying sector turned out in force for on Saturday night for the presentation of the 2026 NSW Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information (EISSI) Awards.
More than 350 people from private- and public-sector organisations attended the event at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, including the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales.
The MC for the evening was comedian, writer and performer, Jean Kittson AM.
The award recipients are as follows:

- Urban Cadastral Surveying & Land Titling: Beveridge Williams, for Transforming Complexity into Community: Delivering the Titling Solution for Norwest Quarter
- Surveying Project Management: John Holland Group, for the Belmont Desalination Plant – Tunnelling and Offshore Works

- Professional Surveying Organisation of the Year, Large Firm: SDG Pty Ltd
- Professional Surveying Organisation of the Year, Large Firm (Highly Commended): Beveridge Williams
- University Student Project: Victoria Murrant, University of New South Wales, for Visualisation of 3D Cadastres with Immersive Technologies
- University Student Project (Highly Commended): Ezra Miller, University of New South Wales, for Demonstrating an Indoor Flight Path for a UAV in a GNSS-denied environment using dead-reckoning.
- Grant Kilpatrick Vocational Student: Blair Jackson, Industry Training Alliance
Presented jointly by Consulting Surveyors NSW and the Institution of Surveyors NSW, the EISSI Awards have celebrated excellence across the profession for 28 years, and have now gone national.
Together with the other state and territory award recipients, the 2026 NSW awardees will be automatically entered into the National EISSI Awards, to be presented in Canberra in February 2027.
