12th Australian Space Forum @ Adelaide Convention Centre and online

Supported by the Australian Space Agency, the South Australian Space Industry Centre and SmartSat CRC, the 12th Australian Space Forum will provide an opportunity to stimulate ideas, share information about emerging technologies and network with space sector leaders and the broader community.

Participants will be able to attend in-person at the Adelaide Convention Centre in South Australia, or virtually through the event’s global interactive platform.

Forum sessions will include international panels covering the following thematic areas:

  • National and international space trends
  • Moving from cubesats to larger satellites — building Australian expertise and capability
  • Reimagining the social, environmental and economic opportunities enabled by Earth observation technologies
  • On-Earth and off-Earth remote operations, in the context of human exploration as well as applications right here on Earth

Southern Space Symposium @ National Press Club, Canberra

In partnership with the Australian Space Agency, the Space Industry Association of Australia will host the Southern Space Symposium at the National Press Club in Canberra on 29-30 November 2021.

The Southern Space Symposium is the Australian space industry’s flagship annual conference, bringing together space industry experts and decision-makers from across Australia. At a pivotal moment, the Southern Space Symposium will this year bring space industry together with government and parliament for two days in Canberra to help shape the future agenda for Australian space’s aspirations.

Participants will include federal government departments and agencies, international agencies and missions, defence and space prime contractors, listed space companies, academic and research organisations, small and medium enterprises, space start-ups, and individual space professionals.

The 10th Land Administration Domain Model Workshop (LADM 2022) will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia from 31 March to 2 April 2022. This is an on-site event at Hotel Dubrovnik Palace, with possibilities for remote participation. The workshop is being organised in conjunction with 7th Croatian Congress on Cadastre.

The annual Geo Connect Asia Show & Conferences offers a two day, in-person meeting place for ASEAN’s vibrant geospatial community. Bringing geospatial solutions to the heart of decision-making the event combines with technologies from the digital construction, drone and remote sensing markets.

Geo Connect Asia looks to host its ASEAN neighbours and build on a vibrant community as new technologies add new application tools to enable the Industry 4.0 Revolution. The emergence of AI, blockchain, IoT, robotics and UAVs create a new dynamic and platforms for a region well equipped to take on the challenges ahead.

3rd International Land Management Conference @ Online

The 3rd International Land Management Conference, hosted by the University of the West of England, will be held online on 14 and 15 March 2024. The event will bring together experts and professionals in land management to discuss inclusive land tenure, efficient land markets, sector reform and innovations in land research.

The conference will focus on four themes:

  • Theme 1: Can we build more inclusive and resilient land tenure systems by understanding social value and climate change?
  • Theme 2: How can land administration systems contribute to efficient and equitable land markets?
  • Theme 3: What approaches can Development Partners use to help achieve more successful Land Administration sector reform?
  • Theme 4: LINK – Early Career Professionals and Junior Researchers – Innovations in Land Research and Practice

The conference is organised by LINK, the Land–International Network for Knowledge — a network of academic organisations, professional practice and development partners, as well as public and private sector country partners — in association with the University of the West of England.
