Led by Australia’s medical colleges and professional societies and facilitated by NPS MedicineWise, Choosing Wisely Australia is challenging the way we think about health care.
The 2018 Choosing Wisely Australia National Meeting will bring together members, key stakeholders and influencers of the Choosing Wisely initiative, now in its third year. It is an opportunity for health professionals, consumers, researchers, funders and policy makers to come together to discuss, engage and network on topics related to reducing unnecessary care.
At the 2018 National Meeting you will:
- Engage with the Choosing Wisely Australia community and foster the exchange of ideas
- Hear about practical and implementable examples of projects on Choosing Wisely and their impact to date
- Learn about the impact of Choosing Wisely Australia

The Space Symposium attracts thousands of representatives of the space industry, governments, militaries, research agencies and more. The event brings all these groups together in one place to provide an opportunity to examine space issues from multiple perspectives, to promote dialog and to focus attention on critical space issues.
This year, the Space Symposium will be a hybrid in-person/virtual event, with the in-person sessions taking place in Boulder, Colorado, along with a vast exhibition display space which, this year, has been increased by 8,300 square metres.
Survey and Spatial NZ’s 2022 conference will be held from 1 to 3 August at the Novotel Lakeside, Rotorua. The conference is the biggest continuing professional development event of the year for NZ surveying and spatial professionals. It invites sharing of knowledge amongst peers, bringing together networking opportunities for all delegates and is an essential event for professional development and connectivity within the sector.
The choice of Rotorua as the location is apt, given the conference theme of ‘Turning up the Heat’. The organisers aim to stimulate discussion regarding challenges in regional areas, which include climate change and developments outside of Auckland.
