Help out your fellow geo-types by taking a survey

By on 23 August, 2011

This week, I received two requests asking for participation in surveys to help out some fellow geo-types. Being the considerate guy I am, I thought I’d pass these requests over to you, my faithful readers.

The first is a survey run by Marcos Nino-Ruiz, a PhD candidate at Melbourne University. He is currently undertaking research on Geospatial awareness of Climate Change Adaptation.

He writes:
This posting is an invitation to assist in this research via an online survey. If you agree to participate, you will be using some internet tools to explore a land allocation process having consideration for future projections of climate and their influence on land suitability. To access the experiment proceed to the web site (best experience if you use
Internet Explorer 8):
http://ccviz.sli.unimelb.edu.au/
Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated! At the end of the last section, if you want you may leave your email to participate in the raffle of four iTunes store gift cards of AUD$25 each (optional). Should you have any questions, please contact: Mr Marcos Nino-Ruiz, Phone: +61 3 8344 9184, Email: m.ninoruiz@pgrad.unimelb.edu.au

The next survey request was from SSSI for the Women in Spatial Survey 2011
I don’t think it really needs a description, but if you’re a female working in the spatial industry, please take a moment to fill it out.
