About HxGN LIVE
Arrive curious. Leave inspired.
Most of us don’t like to think about limits, especially when it comes to technology. Yet, the gap continues to grow between what is possible technologically and what industries are actually doing with that technology.
Welcome to HxGN LIVE, Hexagon’s annual digital solutions conference, where the physical world converges with the digital. This four-day, annual event welcomes thousands of business leaders from around the world who join together to experience digital solutions that improve productivity and quality across manufacturing, infrastructure, safety, and mobility applications.
More than a conference, HxGN LIVE stimulates new thinking and motivates attendees to craft new stories about disrupting the status quo, fostering innovation, and driving growth across organisations, industries, and ultimately our world. At Hexagon, we call this Shaping Smart Change.
Engage first-hand with pioneering technologies, gain a unique perspective from the industry’s top thinkers in educational keynotes and sessions, enhance your skills with interactive training, and forge new connections that grow your professional network.
HxGN LIVE is built to transform your industry, your business, and your career. Somewhere deep down in every one of us is the determination to be a difference maker, and this event welcomes thousands of leaders from a wide array of backgrounds eager to learn about the latest solutions shaping smart change around the world.
If you change nothing, nothing will change.
The 42nd Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing will be a virtual event that will bring together academics, practitioners, vendors and policymakers from the remote sensing community in an informative and productive four-day event under the theme of Understanding Our World: Remote Sensing For A Sustainable Future. During GEO Week 2021, the Group on Earth Observations will present the multidisciplinary activities of the GEO Work Programme that address policy agendas involved in the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP26, the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) COP15, the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and the UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration.
The online event will include the GEO-17 plenary, plus anchor and side events. Time will be scheduled each day for virtual networking. On Monday, November 22, the 56th Executive Committee will be held as a closed meeting.
Of particular importance will be the anchor events: These are the main events designed by GEO week 2021 organisers to explain the multidisciplinary nature of GEO through the concept of nexus thinking. Working on multiple topics simultaneously is essential in today’s rapidly changing environmental and social conditions. For example, work in one area will have a knock-on effect or impact in another area, such as the water, energy and food nexus. These events are linked to the global policy agendas that underpin most of GEO’s work.
