Abstracts for the 15th South East Asia Survey Congress will close on March 15.
The SEASC for 2019 will take place in Darwin this coming August, building a detailed program around the inclusive theme of ‘Collaboration, Communication and Capacity Building’.
Drawing on its long history of attracting a diverse and dedicated crew of delegates from across the Asia-Pacific, this year’s event features a future-focus that aims to prepare and bolster the discipline of surveying in the context of impending environmental, social and technical challenges.
The ASEAN FLAG Council will meet and co-locate at the event, along with an ESRI technical workshop on modernising land administration led by Brent Jones, global manager for Cadastre/Land Records
SEASC also aims to embrace the unique cultural and natural features of its host city and surrounds with a range of extra curricular activities, including an invitation only ASEAN Masters golf tournament, a social dinner hosted by Jimmy Shu at Hanuman restaurant, and pre-congress tours to Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield national parks, a barramundi fishing tour and visit to the Tiwi islands.
Register before March 15 to submit your abstract for this unique and historic congress.
