
The recently formed Locus Alliance has announced an upcoming series of webinars.
The webinar events will cover a wide range of topics, beginning on 29 May with an introduction to the Alliance itself.
That will be followed by others covering LiDAR, AI, land tenure, geospatial strategies, and professional motivation.
In an email, the Alliance said that it wants to “bring the profession together,” with the webinar series acting as “a national platform for connection, learning and shared experience across surveying and spatial”.
“This is about creating space for professionals to learn from each other, build capability and stay connected to what’s evolving across the profession.”
The webinars will be as follows:

There is no cost for registration for Locus Alliance members; a fee of $75 plus GST applies for non-members.
The Alliance says that places are limited for each webinar, with registrations closing 24 hours prior (unless sold out earlier).
The organisation has also issued an invitation for suggestions for further webinar topics.
