Trimble Extensions for FME

By on 25 May, 2010
Trimble has released new SSF and DDF data format extensions for FME, Safe Software’s spatial ETL (extract, transform, and load) solution. The extensions will allow users to transform SSF/DDF data to more than 225 GIS formats including raster data, spatial databases, and legacy CAD.

The new extensions provide an interface for Trimble Standard Storage Format (SSF) and Data Dictionary File (DDF) format files. These files describe co-ordinate geometry and data dictionary information from the company’s TerraSync field software and its GPS Pathfinder Office. Users of these files can access all formats supported by FME.
