Sphere Drones says it has assumed full control over its manufacturing operations by transitioning to in-house production through a partnership with engineering and manufacturing firm, Carasel.

The company says the move is designed to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities to support the rapid scaling of its HubX ‘drone-in-a-box solution’ development and delivery.

“Taking manufacturing operations in-house marks a pivotal moment for Sphere,” said Paris Cockinos, CEO of Sphere Drones.

“Our early testing of DJI Dock 3 at Carasel also means we’re ahead of the curve, ready to integrate the latest technologies into our offerings.

“It’s also a proud commitment to being Australian made; keeping production local means we can better meet the needs of our customers and support the broader Australian tech industry.”

Sphere Drones also has announced that HubX has officially launched on the DJI Enterprise Ecosystem global platform. In addition, it has been among the first to test DJI’s newly launched Dock 3 at Carasel.
