Online mapping service provider Nearmap has opened a Sydney office.
Located on Danks street in Waterloo, this office will be the hub for its new front-end web team and will establish our presence in Sydney.
The first key appointment for this office is Wilfried Schaffner who joins Nearmap as head of engineering to lead its development programs, including its move into ecommerce and mobile. Originally from Germany, Wilfried has operated across the European, Australian and US markets, most recently with Mobile Messenger in Sydney and Los Angeles. Wilfried brings with him over 10 years of technology leadership experience in the mobile and online areas.
The Perth Nearmap office continues business as usual.
