Locate21 earlybird deadline extended

By on 20 January, 2021

The deadline for discounted registration for Locate21 has been extended until January 22, with new speakers and live sites announced.

Momentum is building for Locate21, kicking off on March 29 — as the organisers extend their earlybird discount registration offer until this Friday, January 22.

More details of the event have been revealed also, with new speakers added to the line-up and details of the live sites for the hybrid event announced.

CEO of Geoscience Australia James Johnson has been newly added to the bill, along with Dr. Karen Joyce of James Cook University and She Maps and James Duffy, project lead of SpaceTech applications at Swinburne’s data science research institute.

These heavy hitters join the line-up of plenary speakers previously announced.

Live locations at which Locate21 will unfold have also been revealed — with delegates able to join proceedings in-person at venues in Brisbane, Sydney, Bathurst, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart and Wellington.

In keeping with a tradition of setting bold agendas for the geospatial community and spatial sciences in the region, the scale and content of Locate21 is remarkable in the climate of uncertainty of the last year.

So, support the event that leads our industry and your future as a spatial practitioner and register to participate in Locate21.
