Friday, 12 July is the cut-off date for nominating for the annual Geospatial Excellence Awards, so there’s no time to waste if you want to put yourself or an industry colleague forward.

The Geospatial Excellence Awards are the Australia’ premier platform to celebrate the achievements of top organisations and individuals in the geospatial sector, recognising the most outstanding projects and individual achievements.

The Awards always attract a strong field of very worthy candidates, both individuals and group projects. You can see a list of this year’s recipients here.

Award categories range from best student to future leader, hydrographic excellence to geospatial innovation, international partnerships to technical excellence, and many more.

Nominators should first download and read the 2024 Nomination Guide before making their submission(s) via the online awards portal.

Submissions must be made, complete with all supporting documents and images, by Friday 12 July. Enquiries can be made by contacting the awards team at awards@geospatialcouncil.org.au.

The winners will be presented with their awards at the Locate25 conference to be held in Brisbane in April, 2025.
