As the 2019 event in Wellington approaches, the organisers of FOSS4G Oceania are calling for expressions of interest to host the 2020 State of the Map conference.

OSGeo are seeking expressions of interest to host the Oceania open source geospatial conference for 2020 — but are quick to point out that a full proposal can be collaboratively developed later, referring would-be hosts to an exemplary letter of intent from Wellington’s successful bid.

A conference committee will be assembled of new and experienced people to organise the event once a location is selected, according to OSGeo’s wiki page on the call.

OSGeo is calling for EOIs until September 16, and is seeking submissions via the OSGeo Oceania email list.
