Australia’s very own GIS People is taking on the world stage, becoming a finalist in an international awards program and announcing a US roll-out of its flag ship product.
The Brisbane-based company has been recognised as a finalist in the 2017 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards. This places GIS People among the top companies of over 2,800 entries from some 115 countries.
GIS People was selected as a finalist in the ‘Public Sector: Government Award’ due to the successful delivery of its flagship product Gruntify to its government customers. The spatial software provides cloud-based mobile data collection and collaboration, turning unwieldy business processes into logical, organised actions. Gruntify is a tasking and data management platform bringing together mobile, cloud and geospatial technologies.
Since its release in 2014, Gruntify has proven particularly useful for natural disaster relief management and civic issue management.
