The FIG Congress — the largest and most prestigious conference of surveying and geospatial professionals — will this year be held in Poland.
The organisers are expecting an attendance of 1,000 to 1,500 surveying and geospatial experts from all over the world.
This year the local host is the Association of Polish Surveyors, and the conference theme is ‘Volunteering for the future – Geospatial excellence for a better living’. Geospatial excellence and all related professions and topics are now seen in a much broader context and as public goods and beneficial for the well-being and betterment of the entire society.

The FIG Congress 2022 will give passionate professionals the opportunity to:

Smart Cities Week Australia and New Zealand 2022 will bring together the who’s-who in smart cities, digital twins and future-of-place thought leadership in an energising, open dialogue on how to leverage technology to deliver better quality of life for citizens.
Smart Cities Week offers sessions designed to bring demand and supply side stakeholders together in a way that incubates business opportunities and incubates the smart cities investment pipeline.
This year, the event will be delivered in conjunction with Digital Twin Week, known as the premier platform for showcasing, exchanging and networking around all things Digital Twin in the built and natural environment. The event will offer a series of opportunities to connect and gain information and insights on Digital Twin activity, policy and practice from government and industry leaders.

The Andy Thomas Space Foundation is looking forward to welcoming a global audience to the 14th Australian Space Forum, which will be held on Tuesday, 25 October 2022 at the Adelaide Convention Centre in South Australia.
Supported by the Australian Space Agency, the South Australian Space Industry Centre and SmartSat CRC, the Forum will provide an opportunity to stimulate ideas, share information about emerging technologies and network with influential space sector leaders and the broader community.

RPAS in Australia Skies is back for 2023. The conference is the Australian Association for Uncrewed Systems’ (AAUS) main event for the year and has established itself as a landmark event for the Australian drone industry, drawing interest from key government personnel, representatives from the regulatory and safety bodies, defence force, RPAS and UTM representatives, end users and academia.
The hybrid event will take place over two days and will include a combination of presentations and interactive panel discussions.
The conference will cover:
- RPAS related policy and regulatory updates from Australian and international government agencies.
- UAS Traffic Management, low-level airspace and integrated airspace systems
- Industry challenges and perspectives
- Continuing development of a professional and safe industry.

SmartSat partners, participants, students and staff are invited to come together to share their research outcomes and network with industry colleagues at the SmartSat CRC Conference 2023.
The SmartSat CRC is a consortium of universities and other research organisations, partnered with industry that has been funded by the Australian Government to develop know-how and technologies in advanced telecommunications and IoT connectivity, intelligent satellite systems and Earth observation next generation data services.

The Remote Hydrography conference and exhibition brings together manufacturers, operators, regulators, and research and development leaders from both industry and academia, within the field of remote surveying and uncrewed survey operations.
Remote Hydrography 2024 provides an opportunity to share experience gained in the development and application of autonomous and uncrewed platforms (surface, underwater, aerial and space-based) and the associated command and support services.
These and enabling technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence will revolutionise workflows for hydrographic data collection, processing, analysis and presentation.
The International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) Working Week 2024 will be held in Accra, Ghana, from 19 to 24 May. The event is being held in cooperation with the two national associations: the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG) and the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS).
The event will comprise the following:

- FIG General Assembly: 19 and 23 May
- Pre- and post-events: 18-19 and 23 May

The ROTORTECH Helicopter and Uncrewed Flight Exposition is the premier industry event for the Helicopter/Rotary Wing and RPAS/UAV/eVTOL community in Australia, New Zealand and the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
Held by AMDA Foundation with input from major industry supporter the Australian Helicopter Industry Association, ROTORTECH 2024 will provide a vital interface between industry, regulators and government, including:
