Building on the success of the 2018 National Conference we are anticipating a good attendance again this year.
The Conference will be held at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park which has recently had a $50 million refurbishment.

Unable to hold its scheduled 2021 NSW Regional Conference earlier in 2022, SSSI is now inviting the spatial community to join it for a special online seminar featuring some of the speakers from the original program, along with the announcement of the NSW winners of the 2021 Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards.
This seminar will focus on the importance, efficiency and innovation spatial data can provide in crisis management situations and will feature presentations on:

UPDATE, 27 January 2022: Montgomery Asia, the organiser of Geo Connect Asia, has announced new dates for the Show and Conference, which had been scheduled for 23 and 24 March 2022. The event will now be held across 1 and 2 June 2022 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore.
The date change will allow time for local event restrictions and international travel rules to gradually relax and facilitate expanded business and networking opportunities across core Asian markets.

The Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors (AIMS) National Conference 2023 will be held at the Hyatt Regency Sydney from 13 to 15 September 2023. The conference’s keynote speaker will be Peter Baines, OAM, one of Australia’s most effective ‘socialprenuers’. A former police officer, he is the founder of the well-known charity ‘Hands Across the Water,’ and as such has created opportunities for hundreds of children in Thailand.
Peter’s humanitarian efforts have been recognised with significant national and international awards. In January 2014, he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his International Humanitarian work. In 2016, he received the Most Admirable Order of Direkgunabhorn awarded by the King of Thailand for his devotional services to the Kingdom of Thailand.
