The Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA) has launched a new entrepreneur workshop, as part of the Government’s Entrepreneurs’ Programme. The first of the free half-day events is to take place next week, Thursday 17 March in SIBA’s head offices in Brisbane.

The program is aimed at spatial practitioners who want to become a preferred supplier to their customers, or those who want to break into new markets.

The half-day workshop is called “Building Value in Customer and Supplier Relationships” and aims to engage participants in an interactive program that provides valuable industry skills, including the ability to:

  • Identify your customers’ operational imperatives and how you can position your business as adding value
  • Source relevant industry information and data and use it to target and tailor your pitch
  • Approach new potential customers and get their attention
  • Communicate effectively to determine customer needs and sell your unique product/solution
  • Maintain value-building long-term relationships with customers and suppliers

At the end of the workshop you will be armed with a set of simple tools that you can immediately put to use to increase customer engagement and enhance existing relationships.

This workshop is being delivered by Shipley Asia Pacific, which is part of a global consulting firm that helps companies of all sizes internationally improve their operations. The training is being offered at no cost, other than the investment of your time.

Places for the workshop are strictly limited to 20 people, so interested parties are encouraged to register now.
