Safe Software FME

Newly established data advisory firm Permuto, has become a Silver Partner with Safe Software, the makers of the popular ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tool, FME.

Permuto staff has over 15 years’ experience with FME, and carry Certified Professional and Certified Trainer status.

“By partnering with Safe Software, we are providing to our clients the best tool to connect, transform, and automate a multitude of data formats and business processes,” said Brett Madsen, founder of Permuto.

“We are aiming at the internal business processes of an organisation. Information is the key driver between different systems, whether that be CRM/Email/Accounts or GIS/Assets/Corporate. Not necessarily targeting the spatial components of the data but all information.” Said Brett

Permuto work with both commercial businesses and government clients to allow them to better leverage the data that they hold.

“We’re pleased to have Permuto join Safe Software’s VAR Community,” said Dale Lutz, co-CEO and vice president of development at Safe. “We’re selective about who we have represent our company and product. Brett’s wealth of knowledge and experience with FME technology – heck, he was a student in an FME course I taught years and years ago! – gives us complete confidence in Permuto’s ability to apply this technology to a broad spectrum of customer solutions.”

Here is our standard “About Safe and FME” boilerplate: FME allows users to easily move data between applications with FME’s unmatched format support. FME goes beyond simple conversion and includes a library of 400+ data transformers so that data structure and content can be efficiently manipulated.
