YellowScan has announced the launch of CloudStation, its software suite for creating and manipulating point cloud data from UAV-borne LiDAR.

The French firm’s new CloudStation software allows users to automatically display, extract and process their captured point data immediately after acquisition.

Material released by YellowScan suggests that key benefits of their in-house solution include the ability to check data integrity and area coverage in the field, confirm that all mapped objects are identified and a simplified workflow for extracting LAS files.

“This launch is an exciting move for YellowScan, it allows a better and simplified experience for the
customers,” said Tristan Allouis, Chief Technical Officer of YellowScan.
