Australian businesses that might welcome a helping hand and some fresh ideas from university students, are being invited to submit proposals to the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program run by the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ).
The WIL program seeks to identify businesses that have a challenge, opportunity or project that would benefit from input from a UniSQ student.
In particular, the university’s Surveying and Spatial Science group regularly has more than 40 students each year who seek involvement in external projects.
UniSQ’s Industry Projects Team, which is responsible for facilitating connections between the group’s planning and construction students and external organisations, has put out a call for industry proposals for WIL opportunities for Trimester 3, commencing on Monday, 26 August 2024.
As a first step, interested organisations should submit a short project briefing document via the online form by no later than 5:00pm AEST, 9th August 2024.
Completion of the form doesn’t guarantee participation in a WIL project, but the Industry Projects Team says it will work with proposers to find a suitable collaboration opportunity.
