Tickets soon closing for ‘An afternoon with Jack’

Ticket sales are soon closing for An afternoon with Jack, when the founder of Esri, Jack Dangermond, will present at the Sydney Opera House on 13 October.

The event is an opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in location-based analytics technology when the spatial industry’s most influential person visits the Sydney Opera House for an afternoon of presentations and networking.

Esri President Jack Dangermond is widely regarded as the global pioneer of GIS technology – and according to US President Barack Obama and Microsoft Founder Bill Gates, he is one of the biggest change advocates of the digital age.

Dangermond will share GIS technology advancements, inspiring user case studies, and discuss the next frontiers for the spatial industry.

Attendees will also hear from Former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley who will explain his strategy for performance-measured leadership – techniques which helped him slash $100M from Baltimore’s operating costs.

There will also be presentations from leading global think tank Institute for Economics and Peace analysing their global peace index to find new insights into global terrorism risk

You will also learn practical lessons on enterprise GIS adoption from one of the world’s most progressive and successful viticulturists, Treasury Wine Estates.

From a technical perspective, the event will also showcase new technology for spatial analysis and new ways to process and interpret drone-collected data.
