SuperGeo announces software integration

By on 1 February, 2011

SuperGeo Technologies has announced that SuperPad 3, its mobile GIS software, now works with SuperGIS Server 3 to support online editing services.

SuperGIS Server 3 is an upgraded set of map server software that allows businesses to create, integrate, and publish diversified GIS map data on a central server.

Users can now modify this data using SuperPad online editing functions.

“In the past, the editing results that are related to map data might be uploaded to the server inefficiently or even unsuccessfully, due to internet connection problems,” said the firm in a statement.

“However, with SuperPad online editing mechanism, users are allowed to edit the data offline and connect to SuperGIS Server 3 for uploading and unifying the data when they finish editing.”

As a result, surveyors no longer need to bring considerable map data with them when conducting a field survey.

A free trial of the integration between SuperPad 3 and SuperGIS Server is available to download at www.supergeotek.com.
