The Surveying & Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) has welcomed CR Kennedy as the Institute’s new Titanium Sustaining Partner.

“I am delighted that CR Kennedy has become the new National Titanium Sustaining Partner of SSSI”, said SSSI President John Trinder. “The company has played a very significant role in support of SSSI in the past, and becoming the National Titanium Sustaining Partner confirms their standing as the major supporter of SSSI.

“I congratulate C.R. Kennedy on their elevation to National Titanium Sustaining Partner and look forward to continued close cooperation with them in the future.”

SSSI CEO, Roger Buckley said “I look forward to a collaborative partnership with such a strong company, which has contributed so much to this industry.

“CR Kennedy will continue to support and be proactive as an Industry player and continue to forge a strong relationship with SSSI.”

This year, C.R. Kennedy is celebrating its 80th anniversary since being established in 1934. It remains an Australian icon within the surveying industry, and continues as Australia’s exclusive distributor of Leica Geosystems survey products and solutions. The international might of Leica’s parent company, Hexagon, which owns companies including Intergraph and Novatel, ensures that CR Kennedy is at the forefront of all technological developments concerning the various commissions covered by the SSSI.

CR Kennedy’s national business development manager, Bernie Edmonds, said: “The combination of a successful family-owned business, alongside the strong relationships with Leica Geosystems and Hexagon, has given us the credibility to be involved at the highest level with a significant Industry body such as the SSSI.

“We have been involved with the SSSI and supported the spatial industry for many years, and we are now looking forward to taking that support to the next level.”
