DJI has introduced the Matrice 4 Series as the company’s new compact flagship enterprise drone range.

With a 70mm medium telephoto lens (1/1.3 CMOS, 48MP, f/2.8), screws and cracks can be identified in medium-range inspections for power lines and bridges from a distance of 10 metres.

For longer-range inspections, the drones’ 168mm telephoto lens (1/1.5 CMOS, 48 MP, f/2.8) can capture details from up to 250 metres away. Additionally, the laser range finder can measure distances from 1,800 metres.

The drones’ thermal camera supports high-res mode up to 1280×1024 pixels, while the NIR auxiliary light can illuminate objects 100 metres away.
