Australian hydrography professionals will gather in Wollongong on 21 June for a day of learning and networking.

The World Hydrography Day Seminar is a joint effort between the Australian Hydrographic Office and the Geospatial Council of Australia.

Delegates will learn about the latest developments in hydrographic surveying, mapping technologies and data analysis techniques.

They’ll also be able to connect with fellow professionals, share experiences and learn from industry leaders who are at the forefront of marine charting and exploration.

The seminar will be held from 8:30am to 6:00pm at the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach. Registrations will open soon.

For New Zealand hydrographic professionals, the Australasian Hydrographic Society will hold a World Hydrography Day Seminar in Auckland on 11 July.

The event will run from 10:00am to 5:00pm NZST at the Devonport Naval Base. Registrations are now open.
