
Registrations are now open for the Locate26 Conference/10th Digital Earth Summit.
This year’s joint event will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 24 to 26 November.
Locate has long been the premier annual gathering for the Australian and New Zealand geospatial community, bringing together experts from right across the sector.
With only a little over five months to go, delegates are being encouraged to take advantage of the early bird registration rates, the cut-off date for which is 31 August.
Early bird registration attracts of discount of almost 15% off the standard rate and almost 25% off the late rate.
Full-time students and early career researchers can take advantage of even more heavily discounted rates.
There’s also a single day rate for those unable to attend the whole conference, plus a group registration option for parties of six or more from the same organisation.

Locate26 abstract submission deadline approaching
The deadline for the submission of abstracts is rapidly approaching, with the cut-off date being 30 June.
Geospatial professionals who would like to showcase and share their work, research, insights, activities, collaborations and achievements are being encouraged to get their proposals in.

- Remote sensing and photogrammetry
- Positioning/geodesy

- Geospatial foundations and data systems
- Emerging technologies

Abstracts are being invited for both the Locate26 Conference and 10th Digital Earth Summit sections of the overall event.
Plus, in addition to a call for abstracts, the International Society for Digital Earth (ISDE) is inviting the submission of session proposals for the Digital Earth Summit portion.
