Queensland spatial leaders decorated at APSEA awards

Five Queensland businesses and seven individuals received recognition for their achievements and innovation on Monday night at the Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards for Queensland, run by SIBA | GITA.

Entrants competed in categories covering spatial innovation, people and community, women in leadership, education development, spatial enablement, spatial export, and technical excellence.

The awards, run by the Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA|GITA) and the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI), celebrate the achievements of top spatial information enterprises and individuals.

Innovators with services and products related to surveying, mapping, remote sensing, geographic software, GPS technology, and location intelligence are recognised as part of the awards.

Winners of the 2017 Queensland SIBA | GITA awards in their respective categories are below.
