The tenth Multi-Global Navigation Satellite Systems Asia Conference is accepting abstracts for presentations and workshops until Sunday, September 2.
The 2018 Multi GNSS Asia conference is set to take over RMIT’s Melbourne City campus on October 23 to 25.
Organisers and partners FrontierSI, Geoscience Australia and RMIT are seeking applicants to submit abstracts in two key streams: ‘Industry applications’ and ‘Latest research trends’.
The program boasts presentations and keynotes from Anthony Murfett, Deputy Head of the Australian Space Agency; Dr. Amanda Caples, VIcotia’s Lead Scientist and Dr. John Dawson of Geoscience Australia on the future of precise positioning.
Other highlights of the draft program [pdf] include representatives from Cabinet Office, The Government of Japan, GNSS providers from the US, Russia, Europe, China, India and Japan, HERE Technology, Swift Navigation, University of Tokyo and the University of Otago.
Delegates from Europe, Asia, Australia and the U.S. are anticipated at the 2018 event, and the conference dinner will be held at Old Melbourne Gaol.
The conference organisers have published a list of topics of interest, and are quick to point out that they welcome abstracts on other topic areas also.
