 BRISBANE GIS DAY

Brisbane GIS Day will this year be launched with addresses from officials from local, state and federal government. Brisbane Councillor Julian Simmonds will open the event at 9am, followed by addresses from QLD Government CIO Andrew Mills and Wyatt Roy MP, Assistant Minister for Innovation.

With all three levels of government represented it will be a great chance to learn about their stance on technology, innovation, open data, the impact of geospatial on the economy and more!

Run by GIS People, Brisbane GIS Day takes place on Wednesday 18th November 2015 in Brisbane CBD, at the Royal on the Park Hotel.

This educational and inspirational event will showcase cutting edge spatial technologies in an expo-type environment. Bringing people together from across Australia – including local businesses and government, energy, financial, educational and mining giants, as well as other geospatial professionals and the public – it connects the geospatial industry on a human level to potential and existing users.

Get your ticket now! Brisbane GIS Day 2015 is FREE to attend but registration is required at http://www.gisday.com.au/register.
