Maps that tell stories

By on 4 October, 2011

GIS professionals know more than most that some of the greatest stories of our time are told with maps.

Maps have the power to educate and to inspire – and translate large volumes of data into a universal language.

To celebrate the significance of maps, Esri Australia is inviting you to enter your most compelling maps in the inaugral Ozri Map Competition!

All you have to do is upload an image of your map and in 50 words or less explain why you think it’s award-worthy.

Maps will be displayed in the electronic map gallery throughout the duration of Ozri.

Ozri delegates will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite map with the winner receiving the honour of Map of the Show and an iPad 2!
