Mipela GeoSolutions recently announced its strategic partnership with Maintenance Connection Australia, a provider of cloud-based Enterprise Maintenance Management Solutions.

Through this agreement, Mipela GeoSolutions’ product, X-Info Maps, will now be available as an embedded component to Maintenance Connection’s offerings. This integration will enable Maintenance Connection clients to link to geospatial data from their GIS, providing them with the ability to visualise and analyse information on a map.

This new functionality will also allow location enablement of Maintenance Connection information and work orders and the ability for clients to create and manage work orders spatially.

“This is a great example of the old adage ‘a picture paints a thousand words’. The integration of our two products gives users a more accurate reflection of real-world circumstances to visualise trends, which will allow organisations to streamline their asset management operations and make better business decisions,” said Mipela GeoSolutions managing director, Hayden McDonald.

Steve Martin, the managing director of Maintenance Connection Australia commented: “The location enablement of Maintenance Connection information and work orders leverages client’s investment in their GIS and improves work planning and analysis while eliminating the need for data duplication”.

Mipela GeoSolutions will be showcasing this latest software integration at the Australian Pipeline Industry Association (APIA) convention being held at the Adelaide Convention and Exhibition Centre from 12 – 15 October 2013.
