Last week’s Year in Infrastructure 2015 Conference saw two Australian organisations take out an international Be Inspired award. The annual awards honour the extraordinary work of Bentley users improving the world’s infrastructure through advanced technology.

At a ceremony and gala last night in London at The Year in Infrastructure 2015 Conference, 18 Be Inspired Awards winners and five Be Inspired Special Recognition Awards winners were acknowledged. This year, 10 independent panels of jurors, comprising distinguished industry experts, selected the 18 Be Inspired Awards winners from 54 project finalists. These finalists had been previously chosen from over 360 submissions by organisations in 66 countries.

South Australia’s SA Water took out the Innovation in Asset Performance Management Predictive and Operational Analytics Tools award for its project Adelaide Metro Water Distribution Network.

Australian mining technologists Tetra Tech Proteus took out the Innovation in Mining for their work on the Kvanefjeld Rare Earth and Uranium Project in South Greenland.
