Entries open for 2024 Geospatial Excellence Awards

Nominations are now open for the Geospatial Council of Australia’s 2024 Geospatial Excellence Awards, the winners of which will be announced at the Locate conference in Brisbane in April 2025.

The Geospatial Excellence Awards are the sector’s premier platform to celebrate the achievements of top geospatial organisations and individuals, showcasing the finest projects and the most significant achievements.

The categories for the 2024 Awards are:

Industry Awards

  • Award for Environment and Sustainability
  • Award for Community Impact
  • Award for Innovation (Small Business and Medium to Large Business)
  • Award for International Partnership
  • Award for Technical Excellence
  • Award for Workforce Development & Inclusion

Individual Awards

  • Professional of the Year Award
  • Future Leader of the Year Award
  • Diversity & Inclusion Award
  • Undergraduate Student Award
  • Postgraduate Student Award
  • Educational Development Award

Nominators should download and carefully read the 2024 Nomination Guide, and all entries must be made via the online awards portal.

 Submissions must be completed, with all supporting documents and images, by Friday, 12 July 2024. Queries can be sent to awards@geospatialcouncil.org.au.
