The HDS User Conference is designed to deliver a new experience for all attendees from Australia and New Zealand.

Together with our partners C.R. Kennedy and Global Survey the HDS User Conference will bring together Leica Geosystem HDS users in a community environment where they’ll access training sessions, learn about our latest innovations, listen to best practices from industry and experience live demos of the latest HDS technology and solutions.

The HDS User Conference features insightful keynote addresses, customer success stories and HDS dedicated group training sessions. Discover and test-drive new, innovative hardware and software solutions that will improve the performance, speed, workflows and efficiency across your organisation.

On behalf of the Locate Australia Conferences it is our pleasure to invite you to join us at Locate22, 24 – 26 May in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.

Locate22 returns to the Nation’s Capital in the traditional format of a live event at the National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC). With the ability to be COVID safe, within a socially distanced environment, the NCCC is the perfect venue for Australia’s premier spatial and surveying conference. Canberra brings an incomparable setting with iconic national attractions surrounding Lake Burley Griffin and the Parliamentary Triangle.

This year Locate22 will incorporate dedicated streams into the format of the conference. This will enable focused discussion from across industry sectors on how location technologies and practices are being used, highlighting the fundamental role they play in shaping Australia’s future.

Industry, government, non-profit and academics are demanding new opportunities for innovation, efficiency and improved responsiveness, particularly in location-based information. In the past year alone, we’ve seen how location information can provide societal, environmental and economic benefits to our communities.  Recent national emergencies such as bushfires, drought, floods and COVID-19 all have long-term effects on our cities, towns, land, environment and people. These national, place-based challenges require collaborative solutions that must be data-driven, provide insightful analysis, and be easy for anyone, anywhere to use.

Australia’s first dedicated Micromobility Conference and Expo will give delegates the opportunity to learn about best practices from international and Australian experts.

After hearing from inspirational keynote speakers, the Micromobility Conference will break into delegates’ choice of two themes on each of its two days.

Delegates will also be able to see best practice examples via facilities tours to be hosted by expert practitioners from the City of Sydney, with e-bikes and helmets provided. They’ll also be able to visit the Micromobility Expo, to be run concurrently at Royal Randwick Racecourse, which will include a huge range of exhibits plus safe, traffic free test riding opportunities.

The Micromobility Conference will be a great opportunity to make new contacts, develop your professional skills, to learn about both the bigger picture trends and latest technical information and to simply be inspired and encouraged.

For those unable to attend in person, all sessions will be live streamed at reduced registration rates.
