The HDS User Conference is designed to deliver a new experience for all attendees from Australia and New Zealand.

After too long an absence, we’re delighted to announce that GeoRabble Sydney will be back, on Thursday October 18th, from 6PM at the Occidental Hotel in York Street.

Theme of this Rabble is “The Unusual Suspects” – celebrating the unusual, unsuspected, and surprising applications of geoinformation and -technology. Think using GPS for herding cattle, new uses of drones, photogrammetry in health, GIS on Mars, mapping in insurance and finance, to name just a few.

The International Cartographic Association (ICA) invites you to share your research, practice and experiences in cartography and GIScience at the 31st International Cartographic Conference (ICC 2023), to be held from 13 to 18 August 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa.
The conference theme will be ‘Smart Cartography for Sustainable Development’.

INTERGEO returns for 2023 with the motto, ‘Inspiration for a smarter world,’ with the event this year also incorporating the German Cartography Congress.
The conference and exhibition will cover the topics of geoinformation, geodesy, land management, Earth observation, urban planning, disaster prevention, environmental protection and energy efficiency, while tackling challenges such as the climate crisis, urbanisation and securing resources.
This year, there will be a special emphasis on drone technologies and BIM.
The Geospatial World Forum is an annual gathering of geospatial professionals and leaders representing the entire ecosystem of public policies, national mapping agencies, private sector enterprises, multilateral and development organisations, scientific and academic institutions, and large end-users from government businesses and citizen services.
Geospatial World Forum 2024 will be held from 13 to 16 May in Rotterdam. Having its theme as ‘Geospatial Transition: Powering the World Economy,’ the event will showcase various facets of the ongoing transition of the geospatial industry and its existing and potential value in the world economy.
