The 2018 Choosing Wisely Australia National Meeting will bring together members, key stakeholders and influencers of the Choosing Wisely initiative, now in its third year. Locate22 returns to the Nation’s Capital in the traditional format of a live event at the National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC). With the ability to be COVID safe, within a socially distanced environment, the NCCC is the perfect venue for Australia’s premier spatial and surveying conference. Canberra brings an incomparable setting with iconic national attractions surrounding Lake Burley Griffin and the Parliamentary Triangle.
This year Locate22 will incorporate dedicated streams into the format of the conference. This will enable focused discussion from across industry sectors on how location technologies and practices are being used, highlighting the fundamental role they play in shaping Australia’s future.

LOCATE 22
The National Surveying Congress will be an opportunity for leaders in the surveying profession to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the profession. The 2022 Congress theme is ‘Automatic Mutual Relaxation’.
As the profession comes to understand the impact of Automatic Mutual Recognition for surveyors across the country, the event will provide an opportunity for surveyors from across Australia to gather and discuss the issues facing the profession and the opportunities for the future. The highlight of the program each year is the Cadastral Leaders Panel which sees all the Surveyors-General on stage speaking about changes and opportunities in their states and territories as well as an update from ICSM and ANZLIC. There will also be an online option.
The National Surveying Consultancy Excellence Awards and Gala Dinner will be held on the second day of the event, 23 June 2022.
Registrations are now open for the Geospatial Council of Australia’s 2024 International Women’s Day breakfast in Melbourne on 8 March. The breakfast will bring together women from across the geospatial sector to share experiences and foster connections among the remarkable individuals shaping the future of geospatial technology.
The event will also serve as a platform to amplify the voices of women in this field, highlighting their contributions, innovation and leadership.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional, an aspiring newcomer or a passionate advocate, these events promise to be filled with inspiring discussions, networking opportunities and empowering insights.

The ROTORTECH Helicopter and Uncrewed Flight Exposition is the premier industry event for the Helicopter/Rotary Wing and RPAS/UAV/eVTOL community in Australia, New Zealand and the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
Held by AMDA Foundation with input from major industry supporter the Australian Helicopter Industry Association, ROTORTECH 2024 will provide a vital interface between industry, regulators and government, including:
