The World Meteorological Organization has launched a new ‘Global Survey on Satellite Data Utilization,’ in which it is seeking feedback from users around the world.

The survey will be a complete update on the last such survey, which was conducted in 2016. Doubtless there will have been many changes to the way in which satellite data is now used, compared to five years ago.

The survey is designed to find out about user needs and will “help bridge the gaps between the large amount of satellite data available and the tremendous need for increased access to those data, information, products and training”.

The online survey closes on 1 July 2022, and can be found here.
