Dr Timothy Foresman will be a keynote speaker at QCON14. Dr Foresman lead NASA’s Digital Earth Initiative, which helped pave the way for Google Earth and was formerly the United Nations Chief Environmental Scientist.
QCON14 incorporates the 17th Australasian Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Conference (ARSPC), the 6th Queensland Surveying & Spatial Conference (QSSC), and the LiDAR Technologies 2014 Conference, and will take place on the 7-10 October 2014.
QCON14 is a unique platform for members of the surveying and spatial community to network, share ideas, and learn about innovations and industry advancements. The theme this year is ‘Repositioning for a Sustainable Future.’
QCON14 will look at how the surveying and spatial sciences can help provide a balance of economic prosperity and environmental sustainability, while also examining the changing roles of our profession to ensure our own longevity.
