Nominations are now being accepted for New Zealand’s premier annual surveying and spatial awards.

The 2026 Survey and Spatial New Zealand (S+SNZ) Professional Excellence Awards aim to celebrate the achievements of individuals and organisations within the sector in New Zealand.

Some of the awards up for grabs are:

• Member’s Choice Award
• S+SNZ Technicians Award
• Project Excellence Award
• Fulton Bequest Award
• Bogle Young Professional of the Year Award
• CSNZ Strategic Marketing and Communications Excellence Award
• Cadastral Survey of the Year

Professional stream Awards of Excellence

Awards will also be presented for outstanding work in six different streams of professional activity:

• Cadastral Surveying
• Spatial
• Hydrography
• Positioning and Measurement
• Land Development
• Engineering Surveying

The recipients of the stream awards will go in the running for the McRae Supreme Award.

Nominations for all the awards close at 5:00pm NZT, 3 August 2026.

The presentations will be made at the S+SNZ Conference GSI Awards Evening in Auckland, on Thursday, 10 September 2026.
