The survey includes analysis of demographics, type of work and salaries received across various regions and sectors, including separate categories for spatial professionals and surveyors.

The 2014 results concluded that approximately 81% of workers within the industry were male. The study on working hours indicated that 68% of respondents work between 38 or 40 hours, 11% work fewer than 38 hours per week and 21% worked in excess of 40 hours per week, ranging up to 100 hours per week.
