As part of the FME World Tour, 1Spatial, the spatial big data company, is hosting a series of free events across Australia, with the aim of helping users to automate their processes, innovate and connect with FME users. 1Spatial is a Value-Added Reseller of FME and a Platinum Partner of Safe Software.  Join us in a city near you on one of the following dates:

  • 8th April – Brisbane (Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre)
  • 11th April – Melbourne (Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre)
  • 18th April – Sydney (Sydney Radisson Blu Hotel)

The FME World Tour 2016 brings users together in 60+ cities worldwide under the common theme of ‘Connecting Our World’. “With the explosion of big data, sensors, and the Internet of Things, our world is becoming increasingly plugged in and connected,” Safe’s co-founder Dale Lutz explains. “The ability to integrate data is key to better understanding of the world, and better decision-making.”

Each event will include technical presentations, networking opportunities, case studies and interactive sessions and we welcome both new users and veterans of FME.

Martin Gregory, General Manager, 1Spatial Asia Pacific says, “The technical demonstrations will showcase how you can adapt your existing FME processes and get more from your investment. Our case studies highlight the benefits of FME and look at real world examples of how FME has enabled our customers to run more efficient projects. Finally, our interactive sessions mean that whether you speak to an FME expert to solve your data challenge, or take part in one of our group activities, there’s always plenty of opportunity to better understand your data”.

Why Attend?

  • Learn how the new capabilities in FME 2016 can help your workflows
  • Build your FME skills through how-to and best practice sessions
  • Get tips and practical ideas via presentations from FME users
  • Receive technical assistance from our FME Certified Professionals
  • Network with FME users from other organisations and the wider FME Community.

Saved time with FME? Built something incredible? Have tips or tricks to share? Now’s your chance to shine! Get in touch to present at one of our events: fme@1spatial.com.

The events will include an overview of FME for people who are new to the technology, include some deep-dive sessions for the FME veterans attending and a review the latest capabilities of the new release; FME 2016. As the events attract a mixture of technical and non-technical delegates, 1Spatial always presents the capabilities from a number of angles to ensure there is something for everyone.
