A host of Victorian individuals and organisations had their achievements recognised at the SIBA|GITA Asia-Pacific Spatial Excellence Awards on November 1.

The Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA|GITA) and Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) dealt accolades in categories including spatial innovation, people and community, women in leadership, education development, spatial enablement, spatial export, and technical excellence to five businesses and seven individuals.

“I am really impressed with the level of sophistication of the projects and technology developed by these businesses, and the dedication and drive of the industry’s best professionals,” said SIBA|GITA CEO Deanna Hutchinson.
