Two days to register for discounted Locate19 registration

By on 30 January, 2019

Discounted early bird registrations for the biggest event on the Australian geospatial calendar will close at midnight, January 31.

There are two days left for early bird registrations for Locate19, allowing those delegates quick on the draw to save $250 off the full registration price.

Locate19’s program is quickly taking shape, with the recent addition of Ryan Bank, managing director of the Geospatial Intelligence Center (GIC). Bank is an emerging technology expert and social innovation evangelist, currently managing the GIC to provide transformational solutions for disaster response to the insurance industry and first responders, according to conference organisers.

Collette Burke, chief engineer at the Office of Projects Victoria, is another new addition to a packed line-up. Dr. Burke has held roles from site engineer, executive manager to managing director over 25 years in the engineering and construction industries. She holds a PhD in risk management and value for money on major infrastructure projects. Dr. Burke will bring a seasoned perspective on the present and future of the industry from her current pivotal role in Victoria’s Office of Projects.

These two join the dynamic and diverse line up of talent revealed in the first and second speaker previews, and the networking, social and exhibiting opportunities presented by Australia’s largest spatial science and surveying event.

Locate19 will take place at the Melbourne Convention Centre from April 8-10, 2019. Register by midnight on January 31 to grab an early bird discount.
