Winners of the National Surveying Consultancy Awards after receiving their accolades in Sydney on March 22.

Held during the Surveying 2018 National Congress, the Surveying Consultancy Excellence Awards 2018, took place in Sydney on the evening of Thursday March 22.

To acknowledge the efforts of consulting firms of all sizes, the awards were broken into small and large categories, based on organisational size.

Taylors took out the prize in the Large Consultancy category. Award organisers Consulting Surveyors National said that the judging panel ‘were impressed by the way Taylors demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development, which ultimately results in high level of service delivery.

It was also noted that Taylors’ dedication to fostering a spirit of community engagement is to be highly commended, with this company undertaking surveying and engineering aid work in Fiji over a number of years.’

The Small Consultancy Category award was received by two winners, both from New South Wales — Tuggerah-based Trehy Ingold Neate, and Resource Design & Management from Coffs Harbour.

The awards judging panel commented that ‘these two multidisciplinary organisations demonstrated a sophisticated level of commitment to quality service delivery, development of staff, health and safety, training and business planning.’

Gerry Shone, President of Consulting Surveyors National and part of the judging panel for the awards, added that ‘The calibre of all entrants in this category was high, but Resource Design
& Management and Trehy Ingold Neate stood out as the clear winners.’

Mr. Shone also noted that ‘the judging panel were impressed by the way in which the management teams in both organisations were dedicated to personal and company development, implementing extensive business management systems which ensure quality outcomes for the client.’

Congratulations to all three winners.
