Shortlisted professional services contractors from the Request for Registration of Interest are invited to submit a Request for Tender to undertake strategic route options analysis for the proposed route alignment of the M7 to The Northern Road Motorway between Cecil Park and Luddenham. The motorway forms part of the Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan (WSIP) that supports the proposed Western Sydney Airport, South West Growth Centre and Broader Western Sydney Employment Area.
The key objectives of the study are to:
- Collate and review existing data in the study area to enable determination of a list of possible alignments for the M7 to The Northern Road Motorway between Cecil Park and Luddenham
- Identify any additional information required for the study
- Undertake a documented assessment process to determine a short list of strategic design options to present to the community for consultation
- Undertake a more detailed documented assessment process, including consideration of community feedback, to determine a preferred route for the M7 to The Northern Road Motorway

The Melbourne Metro Rail project (the Project) is a critical city-shaping project that will transform Melbourne’s rail network into an international-style metro system with independent, end-to-end train lines. The Project seeks independent professional engineering peer review services. The services require specific experience related to design or construction of rail projects, particularly underground infrastructure including tunnelling, rail systems engineering and project estimating. The services shall involve critically reviewing the Project’s reference design, methodologies, risk, program, cost plan and any other relevant documentation and confidently advising, commenting and preparing reports on whether the documentation is consistent with achieving the Project’s objectives
