The Walkerville Wesleyan Cemetery was opened by the Wesleyan Church in 1849. The Cemetery has since been entrusted to the Town of Walkerville and remains of significant heritage and importance to the local community. The Cemetery has been closed for burials since around 1973 but remains open for internments.
The Town of Walkerville is currently embarking upon a process of assessing the nature and state of the Cemetery and is calling for Tenders in respect of the provision of Cadastral Survey & Subsurface Mapping services.
