9 April: RFT-10000321; Supply, integration and support of an Asset Management System. NSW Telco Authority – OFS.

The NSW Telco Authority (TA) is planning to undertake a major infrastructure rationalisation program of NSW Government owned radio sites across the state. As a result, the number of assets under TA’s management may increase significantly over the next few years. Currently the management of assets is undertaken by using several databases and spread sheets. This approach has proven sufficient for managing the current portfolio of assets but with the size of this portfolio now planned to increase, the TA requires a centralised system which will be the single source of truth for all asset related information.

Accordingly, this request for tender will result in the selection of a preferred vendor for the following:

  • Supply, integration and ongoing maintenance of a suitable asset management system.
  • Configuration (not customisation) of the supplied system to the TA’s requirement.
  • Provision of various applications and reporting functions, including a geospatial view.
  • Development of a data schema which meets TA’s specifications.
  • Provision of end user and advanced user training (including system configuration and user management) to TA staff.
  • Data alignment and population of the asset management system database.

This procurement will be conducted under either the ITS2573 Pre-qualification scheme or the ICT Services Scheme, depending on vendor and the system selected.
