Melbourne-based firm The Spatial Distillery Company has been appointed as the A/NZ distributor for the MapIdea location analytics platform.
MapIdea enables customers to analyse and visualise data on a map and thereby “tap into new business opportunities,” the company says, noting that enterprises such as Vodafone, Domino’s Pizza, Huawei and Sandoz have used the product.
In a statement announcing the partnership, The Spatial Distillery Company said that it “can now offer our customers a new and innovative approach to location-based solutions which quickly distills complex real world data by disrupting the traditional GIS solution approach”.
“We are excited to become MapIdea’s partner for Australia and New Zealand and look forward to bringing the MapIdea Platform to our clients. This is a key partnership for The Spatial Distillery Company as we continue to expand our business in the region,” said Nigel Lester, CEO and founder to The Spatial Distillery Company.
The Spatial Distillery Company provides location analytics and web mapping solutions for telecommunications, retail, financial services and government organisations across Australasia.
Miguel Marques, founder and CEO of Mapidea said he is “excited about the joint value that MapIdea and The Spatial Distillery Company can bring to clients in A/NZ”.
