SIBA breakfast series hits VIC and TAS

The Spatial Industries Business Association (SIBA) is running a breakfast networking series, starting this Thursday in Melbourne and visiting Launcestion on 23rd June.

This Thursday 11 June, Dr Dale Andrea, Director Information Access at VicRoads will present “Vitamins for policy,” a discussion in which he shows how spatial data and intelligence are enhancing transport connections. A talk by Sendur Kathir, the new Chief Information Officer at Public Transport Victoria will discuss how to deliver public transport service people choose to use. James Prior, managing director of Airbus Defence & Space Geo Australia will also be giving a special presentation deatling how Airbus is helping to picture the future through satellite technologies.

On Tuesday 23 June, the breakfast series will visit Launceston where the Tasmanian Minister for Resources, the Hon. Paul Harriss, will be guest presenting the Tasmanian LIDAR project and other key initiatives across his portfolio. As with the Melbourne event, James Prior will also be giving a special presentation about Airbus Defence & Space Geo.
