Registrations for Trimble Dimensions user conference now open

Registrations for the annual Trimble Dimensions user conference, to be held at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, from 5-7 November, are now open.
 
Trimble Dimensions 2012 will provide insight into how information technology can transform the way surveying, engineering, construction, mapping, GIS, geospatial, utilities and field service management professionals work to achieve success.
 
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of knowledge sharing and break out sessions, network with key industry leaders, build partnerships, develop new contacts, discuss opportunities and discover how to overcome challenges in today’s competitive business environment. Highlights include educational sessions and specialized tracks to advance career objectives with many sessions qualifying for Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits.
 
The conference offers an off-site demonstration and training area plus a Partner Pavilion that will showcase the complete suite of Trimble construction, survey, engineering, aerial and mobile mapping, railway, transportation and logistics, field service, mapping, GIS, utilities, mobile computing, agriculture, forestry and infrastructure solutions, including products from Accubid, Applanix, Meridian Systems, Pacific Crest, PeopleNet, Plancal, QuickPen and Tekla.
 
Highlighted solutions and technologies will include GNSS; total stations; field computing and data collection; 3D scanning; pre-design construction planning; machine control: 3D visualization; Building Information Modeling (BIM); construction project management; aerial and mobile mapping; wireless communications; data transfer; field and office software; and smart grid applications. In addition, technology providers who are Trimble partners will participate to extend the conference’s range of products and applications.
